What else is important to know about joining a foraging walk?
- During the walk we will get to stop and nibble on raw wild foods. Please always double check with me that you have selected the correct plant before eating our finds.
- Some plants are not suitable for pregnant women so please let me know beforehand or give me a discreet nod if that is the case.

What diets do you cater for?
We can cater for most diets and have a good amount of experience and like a challange! Matt follows a strict gluten free, and The Boss/Wife is a dairy-free, gluten-free, vegetarian, that also follows a low FODMAP diet.
Just let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements. Mainly the only allergens used are dairy products, but sometimes gluten as well. We can easily make everything vegan if you would like.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome on all our plant foraging walks subject to the beach rules. Most of our frequent locations are dog friendly but not all of them so please check. Please note that unfortunately dogs and fungi forays do not go well together, no matter how well behaved they.
What if it raining?
Walks are only cancelled in extreme conditions. Please dress appropriately for the weather. We carry on in the rain, this is Cornwall after all, it's a way of life down here! Many times we have been to the Minack Theatre and sat inside a bin bag to protect us from the elements!
If there is a local Met Office weather warning of amber or red we will do our best to rearrange a date that is suitable for everyone, a place on one of our other walks, or a gift voucher valid for two years. If not we will issue a refund.
We are a small family business and pride ourselves on being as flexible as possible, and we also want you to enjoy your experience. If there is another walk you wanted to switch to, that we have spaces on, we will always try and accommodate.
Can I get a refund?
As is common with events such as theatre tickets, cinema tickets, and Feast Nights we can not offer refunds. Please drop us an email if you are having problems with arrangements and we will always do our best to help. We are happy to swap for a gift voucher valid for two years for the same value if you can give us 48 hours notice. You may pass your ticket on to someone else if you could no longer make it.
Money can only be refunded if a performance is cancelled. If there is a local Met Office weather warning of amber or red we will do our best to rearrange a date that is suitable for everyone or a place on one of our other walks, and if not we will issue a refund.
