Prisk Cove

Prisk Cove

Prisk Cove is on the mouth of the Helford River. South of Rosemullion Head and near the village of Mawnan Smith and around 5 miles from Falmouth. It is mainly a shingle beach with many rock pools so perfect for hunting seaweed. The walk takes us through a small wooded valley to join the South West Coast Path and gives us fabulous coastal views over Falmouth Bay.

Distance: 1.5 miles

1.5 miles in total, but with some steep sections.

Duration: 4 hours

The walk usually lasts around 4 hours, but this can vary depending on group size and speed levels, plus I do get easily carried away and often run over time so if you need to leave by a certain time please let me know at the beginning.
